American Women in Science

The Association for Women in Science (AWIS), a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. was founded 25 years ago to expand education and employment opportunities in science for girls and women. AWIS has programs and activities at both the national and local level. National activities include a mentoring project, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, a national internship and the AWIS Registry of Women in Science, Technology, and Engineering, a multi-disciplinary searchable database. Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society

Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society (Tri Beta) is a national organization that functions as an honor and professional society for students in the biological sciences. Our chapter (Sigma Theta) sponsors numerous activities including:

Donnie Anderson, Christina Malakowsky, Summer Crow and Michael Grillo are this year's officers.
