Aries: a Journal of Creative Expression
The journal is open to a wide variety of perspectives, ideas and theoretical approaches; however, at the heart of all editorial decisions is the overall quality of the work submitted. No fewer than two readers consider each work, and most rejected and accepted submissions that include a functioning e-mail address or SASE will receive a personal response or critique from the Aries editorial board. Guidelines: All entries must be free of any marks identifying the author or artist. Instead, a cover page listing the title of submission(s), author's or artist's name, mailing address, phone number(s), e-mail address (if available), and a brief biographical sketch must be clipped to the front of all submissions. Unless accompanied by a self-addressed envelope that includes sufficient U.S. postage, all entries will be considered disposable. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. All rights revert to the author upon publication. The Department of Languages and Literature of Texas Wesleyan University publishes Aries annually in August. The subscription price is $6 per year. Back issues, when available, are also $6 (check or money order payable to the general editor, Thom D. Chesney). For information on the availability of back issues or to submit work for consideration, contact Aries, c/o Thom Chesney, General Editor, Texas Wesleyan University, 1201 Wesleyan, Fort Worth, TX 76105-1536. (817) 531-4923. E-mail (inquiries only--no submissions please): aries_journal@hotmail.com. |
