Lambda Kappa Kappa

Lambda Kappa Kappa stands for "Latin Knights of Knowledge". It is a service fraternity devoted to helping young men grow academically and socially as role models, volunteering in schools and community centers, and increasing the population of Latin American students on college campuses. Since many Latinos at Wesleyan are first-generation college students in their families, LKK also hopes to create a "comfort zone" for anyone suffering the culture shock of university life. We do this by inviting scholars who speak on Latin American culture, by implementing programs that keep students involved in their communities, and by raising scholarship funds for future Latino scholars. Although we celebrate our heritage, Lambda Kappa Kappa uses what we learn from our own diversity to go forward and interact with all cultures and lifestyles.
